Chemia Naissensis
Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics (/), University of Nis (https://www.ni.ac.rs/univerzitet), Republic of Serbia established the journal „Chemia Naissensis“ which publishes scientific and popular scientific papers in chemistry or related disciplines of authors from Republic of Serbia and abroad in English with abstracts in Serbian, French and Russian as well. Two issues have been planned to be published annually.

Opšta uputstva
Časopis Chemia Naissensis objavljuje istraživačke radove, kratka saopštenja, revijalne radove, kratke revijalne radove i preglede knjiga i web stranica iz svih oblasti hemije i srodnih disciplina. Rezultati predstavljeni u radovima bi trebalo da budu originalni radovi koji nisu ranije objavljeni ili poslati u isto vreme za objavljivanje bilo gde na engleskom ili bilo kom drugom jeziku.
Tipovi doprinosa
Istraživački rad | (do 20 kucanih stranica) originalno istraživanje koje nije prethodno publikovano. |
Kratko saopštenje | (do 10 kucanih stranica) neobjavljeni preliminarni rezultati od posebnog značaja za brzo objavljivanje. |
Revijalni rad | (do 50 kucanih stranica) kritički pogled određene istraživačke oblasti (po pozivu glavnog urednika). |
Kratak revijalni rad | (do 25 kucanih stranica) kratak revijalni rad određene istraživačke oblasti. |

Prilikom slanja rukopisa se podrazumeva da:
- Nije prethodno objavljen (osim kao abstrakt za konferenciju ili deo objavljenog predavanja ili akademske teze),
- Da se ne razmatra njegovo publikovanje u bilo kom drugom časopisu, i
- Da se neće publikovati u istom obliku bez pisanog odobrenja izdavača.
Pripremanje rukopisa
U tehničkoj pripremi rada treba koristiti „template“.
Radovi se moraju pisati na engleskom jeziku jasno i kratko.
Radovi bi trebalo da sadrže sledeće delove po redu:
- Naslovna stranica
- Sažetak
- Uvod
- Eksperimentalni deo
- Rezultati i diskusija
- Zaključak
- Zahvalnica (po potrebi)
- Izjava o konfliktu interesa
- Saglasnost za objavljivanje (po potrebi)
- Iskaz o ljudskim i životinjskim pravima (po potrebi)
- Reference
- Sažetak na srpskom jeziku (za autore iz Srbije; za ostale, uređivački tim će obezbediti prevod)
- Sažetak na francuskom jeziku (biće obezbeđen od strane uređivačkog tima ukoliko je potrebno)
- Sažetak na ruskom jeziku (biće obezbeđen od strane uređivačkog tima ukoliko je potrebno)
- Naslovna strana
Naslovna strana bi trebalo da sadrži sledeće:
- Naslov rada (simboli, formule i skraćenice se ne preporučuju); Times New Roman 16, Bold
- Puna imena autora; afilijacije svih autora bi trebalo da budu jasno citirane korišćenjem arapskih brojeva u superskriptu posle imena autora; kod imena autora za korespodenciju staviti zvezdicu; Times New Roman 12, bold
- Puna imena institucija i poštanske adrese svih autora; Times New Roman 12, iskošeno
- Lista sa punim imenima autora i njihovim elektronskim adresama
- Fusnota koja se sastoji iz imena, elektronske I poštanske adrese autora za korespodenciju.
- Sugestije autora što se kategorizacije rada tiče.
- Sažetak
Sažetak bi trebalo da stoji na drugoj stranici. Trebalo bi da se sastoji iz kratkog sumiranja cilja, glavnih rezultata i zaključka. Rukopis bi trebalo da uključuje sažetak pisan na srpskom, francuskom i ruskom jeziku na kraju rada i posle Referenci. Autorima čiji maternji jezik nije srpski, uređivacki odbor će prevesti sažetak sa engleskog na srpski, i takođe pomoći u njegovom prevodu na francuski i ruski, ako je neophodno. Sažetak bi trebalo da bude kraći od 250 reči.
Do šest ključnih reči bi trebalo dati posle sažetka, izbegavajući opšte i višeznačne termine (npr. “i”, “od”).
- Uvod
Ovaj deo treba da sadrži prethodni relevantni rad sa odgovarajućim referencama, problem koji se istražuje i cilj rada.
- Eksperimentalni deo
Ovaj deo treba da sadrži kratak opis materijala, procedura, i korišćenu opremu. Nove metode i tehnike bi trebalo da budu opisane detaljno dok prethodno poznate bi trebalo da budu sa odgovarajućim referencama.
- Rezultati i diskusija
Rezultati i diskusija bi trebalo da bude napisani kao kombinovan deo kako bi se pojednostavila prezentacija. Rezultati bi trebalo da budu predstavljeni koncizno, i diskusija bi trebalo da predstavlja interpretaciju autora o značenju dobijenih rezultata.
- Zaključak
Ovaj deo ne sme biti puko ponavljanje sadržaja sažetka. Mora koncizno i jasno da objasni značaj dobijenih rezultata u predstavljenom radu.
- Zahvalnice
Molim Vas da imenujete ljude i organizacije koji su pomogli u finansiranju ili unapređenju rada i rukopisa.
- Izjava o konfliktu interesa
Svi autori moraju prijaviti bilo kakve finansijske i/ili lične veze koje mogu smanjiti uticaj njihovog rada. Primeri potencijalnih konflikta interesa su: konsultacije, zaposlenje, honorari, plaćeno ekspertsko svedočenje, patentne aplikacije/registracije, vlasništvo, i grantovi ili druga finansiranja. Ako nikakav konflikt interesa ne postoji, onda napišite:
Izjava o konfliktu interesa: Ne postoji konflikt interesa ili ‘Declarations of interest: none.’.
- Saglasnost za objavljivanje
Važno je da svi učesnici u izvedenim istraživanjima daju izjavu o informisanosti u pisanom obliku pre uključivanja u studiju. Lični detalji proučavanih učesnika ne bi trebalo objavljivati (opisi, fotografije, i genetski profili) osim ako je informacija suštinska, ali učesnik mora dati pisanu saglasnost za objavljivanje.
Sledeća izjava bi trebala biti uključena na kraju rukopisa pre dela Reference:
Saglasnost za objavljivanje : “ Pisana isaglasnost za objavljivanje je dobijena od svakog učesnika studije”
- Iskaz o ljudskim i životinjskim pravima
- Iskaz o ljudskim pravima
Kada su objekat proučavanja ljudi, autori moraju napisati iskaz da su izvedena istraživanja odobrena od strane odgovarajućeg institucionalnog i/ili nacionalnog istraživačkog etičkog komiteta i da su izvedena u saglasnosti sa etičkim standardima (1964 Helsinška deklaracija i njene kasnije dopune ili uporedivi etički standardi).
Sledeća tvrdnja bi trebala biti uključena u tekst pre delaReference:
Etičko odobrenje: “All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.”
- Izjave o dobrobiti životinja
U slučaju kada su eksperimenti izvedeni na životinjama, autori moraju ukazati da li su internacionalne, nacionalne, i/ili institucionalne smernice za brigu i korišćenje životinja praćene, i da li su istraživanja odobrena od istraživačkog etičkog komiteta u instituciji ili klinici gde su istraživanja izvedena.
Za studije sa korišćenjem životinja, sledeći iskaz bi trebalo da bude uključen u tekst pre sekcije Reference:
Etičko odobrenje: “All applicable international, national, and/or institutional guidelines for the care and use of animals were followed.”
Ako članci ne sadrže istraživanja sa ljudskim učesnicima ili životinjama, onda napišite sledeću izjavu:
“This article does not contain any studies with human participants or animals performed by any of the authors.
- Reference
Molim Vas da budete sigurni da reference citirane u tekstu takođe budu prisutne u listi referenci i obrnuto.
Stil referenci:
Lista: Reference bi trebalo prvo biti poređane alfabetski a onda sortirane hronološki (ako je neophodno). Ako postoji više referenci od istog (istih) autora publikovanih iste godine, onda moraju biti označene slovima ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’, itd., i smeštene posle godine publikovanja. Primeri:

Tabele
Tabele bi trebalo da daju komplementarni sadržaj, i da ne dupliraju informacije date na slikama i u tekstu. Tekst mora sadržati opis svih tabela. Tabele moraju biti prikazane unutar teksta. Moraju biti pripremljene korišćenjem alatke “Insert Table” inkorporirane u svim MS Word tekst procesorima.
Slike i ilustracije
Slike i ilustracije bi trebalo da bude smeštene u tekstu sa originalnom rezolucijom ne manjom od 300 dpi.
Imenovanje jedinjenja i predstavljanje podataka korišćenjem grafika
Imenovanje jedinjenja mora pratiti IUPAC preporuke. SI jedinice, ili druge dozvoljene jedinice, trebalo bi koristiti. Fizičke količine se moraju dati iskošenim slovima kroz tekst. Indeksi i jedinice (izuzev indeksa koji imaju značenje fizičkih veličina) moraju se dati uspravnim slovima. Trebalo bi biti sa fontom Arial. U graficima i tabelama, molim Vas da koristite kosu crtu da biste odvojili fizičku veličinu od jedinice. Ose grafika ne bi trebalo koristiti za dodatna objašnjavanja. Ime ose bi trebalo da prati pravac ose.
Skraćenice i simboli
Molim Vas da ne koristite ne tako dobro poznate skraćenice u apstraktu. Skraćenica bi trebalo da bude objašnjena po prvom spominjanju u tekstu.
Biljke, životinje i mikroorganizmi
Latinska imena biljaka, životinja i mikroorganizama bi trebalo pisati iskošenim slovima.

Authors are strongly advised to read these instructions carefully before submission.
Submission of Papers
Manuscripts should be submitted to the following e-mail: chemia-naissensis@pmf.ni.ac.rs using the template.
General Instructions
The journal Chemia Naissensis intends to publish research papers, short communications, reviews, mini-reviews and book and website reviews from all fields of chemistry and related disciplines. The results presented in the papers should be original material that has not been published before or submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere in English or any other language.
Types of contributions
Research paper | (up to 20 typewritten pages) original research not previously published. |

Submission of a manuscript implies that:
- it has not been published previously (except as a conference abstract or part of a published lecture or academic thesis),
- it is not under consideration for publication in any other journals, and
- it will not be published in the same form without the written consent of the publisher.
Preparation of manuscripts
In the technical preparation process the template should be used.
Papers must be written in clear and concise English.
Manuscripts must include the following sections in the order listed:
- Title Page
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Experimental
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgment (if any)
- Conflict-of-Interest Statement
- Informed Consent Statement (if any)
- Human and Animal Rights Statement (if any)
- References
- Abstract in Serbian (for Serbian speaking authors; for the others, Editorial team will provide the translation)
- Abstract in French (it will be provided by Editorial team if needed)
- Abstract in Russian (it will be provided by Editorial team if needed)
- Title page
The title page should contain the following:
- Title of the paper (symbols, formulas, and abbreviations are not recommended); Times New Roman 16, Bold
- Full names of the authors; In the multi-affiliation manuscript, the affiliations of all authors should be clearly cited using superscript Arabic numbers after the author`s name and before given address; Times New Roman 12, bold
- Full names of the institutions and postal addresses of all authors; Times New Roman 12, italic
- List with full names of the authors and their e-mail addresses
- A footnote should consist of an address and e-mail address for the corresponding author;
- Authors’ suggestions for the manuscript categorization.
- Abstract
An Abstract should be placed on the second page. It should consist of a concise summary of the objective, the main results, and conclusion. The manuscript should also include an Abstract written in Serbian, French, and Russian at the end of the paper and after References. To authors whose native language is not Serbian, the Editorial Board will translate an Abstract from English into Serbian, and also will provide the help in its translation into French and Russian, if it is necessary. The Abstract should be shorter than 250 words.
Up to six keywords should be provided after Abstracts, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (e.g. “and”, “of”).
- Introduction
This section should contain previous relevant work with proper references, the investigated problem and the aim of the work.
- Experimental
This section should include a concise description of the materials, procedures, and equipment used. New methods and techniques should be described in details while already known methods must be properly referenced.
- Results and Discussion
Results and Discussion should be written as one combined section in order to simplify the presentation. Results should be presented concisely, and the discussion should provide the authors’ interpretation of the significance of the obtained results.
- Conclusion
This section must not be solely the repetition of the content of the abstract. It must concisely and clearly explain the significance of the results obtained in the presented work.
- Acknowledgments
Please name all people and organizations help in funding or improving your work and the manuscript.
- Conflict-of-Interest Statement
All authors must report any financial and/or personal relationships that could decrease the influence of their work. The examples of potential conflicts of interest are: consultancies, employment, honoraria, paid expert testimony, patent applications/ registrations, stock ownership, and grants or other funding. If no interests exist, then please state: ‘Declarations of interest: none’.
- Informed Consent Statement
It is important that all participants in performed studies give their informed consent in writing before inclusion in the study. Identification details of the studied participants should not be published (descriptions, photographs, and genetic profiles) unless the information is essential, but the participant must give written informed consent for the publication.
The following statement should be included at the end of the manuscript before Reference section:
Informed consent: “Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study.”
- Human and Animal Rights Statement
- Statement of human rights
When human participants are involved in the study, authors must write a statement that the performed studies have been approved by the appropriate institutional and/or national research ethics committee and have been carried out in accordance with the ethical standards (1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards).
The following statements should be included in the text before the References section:
Ethical approval: “All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.”
- Statement on the welfare of animals
In the case when experiments were performed on animals, authors must indicate whether the international, national, and/or institutional guidelines for the care and use of animals have been followed and that the studies have been approved by a research ethics committee at the institution or practice at which the studies were conducted.
For studies with animals’ use, the following statement should be included in the text before the References section:
Ethical approval: “All applicable international, national, and/or institutional guidelines for the care and use of animals were followed.”
If articles do not contain studies with human participants or animals by any of the authors, please use the following statement:
“This article does not contain any studies with human participants or animals performed by any of the authors.”
- References
Please be sure that the references cited in the text are also placed in the list of references and vice versa.
Reference style Text:
List: References should be first arranged alphabetically bz the surname of the first author, and then sorted chronologically (if necessary). If there are more references from the same author(s) published in the same year, they must be identified by the letters ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’, etc., placed after the year of publication.

Tables
Tables should provide complementary content, and not duplicate the information presented in the figures and text. The text must contain the description of all the tables. Tables can be shown within the text. They have to be prepared by “Insert Table” tool incorporated in all MS Word text processors.
Figures and illustrations
Figures and illustrations should be placed in the text with the original resolution of at least 300 dpi.
Naming of compounds and representation of data using graphs
The naming of compounds must follow IUPAC recommendations. SI units, or other permissible units, should be used. Physical quantities must be written in italic throughout the text. The indexes and units (except for indexes having the meaning of physical quantities) must be provided in upright letters. In graphs and tables, please use a slash to separate the physical quantity from the unit. Axes of graphs should not be used for the additional explanations. The name of the axis should follow the direction of the axis.
Abbreviations and symbols
Please do not use not very well known abbreviations in the abstract. The abbreviation should be explained upon its first mention in the text.
Plants, animals, and microorganisms
Latin names of plants, animals and the microorganisms must be written in italic.
