Fourteen metals and four soil chemical characteristics were determined in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pmf.ni.ac.rs\/chemianaissensis\/wp-content\/uploads\/filebase\/v2n12019\/1%20Nikolic%20FT%20final.pdf\">paper<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Soil sample collection<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Soil samples (n=15) were collected in February 2015 near the road, covering urban part of city Ni\u0161, Serbia (Figure 1). Samples were taken from corners and center of a square grid, at a depth of 5-20 cm. After that, samples were combined and homogenized. Then they were air-dried at room temperature (25 \u00b0C) for one week, sieved through 0.154-mm mesh sieve and stored at -18 \u00b0C up to analysis.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"668\" height=\"518\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pmf.ni.ac.rs\/chemianaissensis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Annotation-2019-10-30-223850.png\" alt=\"Figure 1. Map showing sampling locations (<em>CN: 2(1), 114-133<\/em>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Calcium was the most present among the macroelements, while lead had the highest concentration among the microelements, especially on high-traffic sampling sites, such as near the bus station.
