Dr. Djuradj Milšević defended his PhD thesis entitled "Larvae of Chironomidae family (Diptera, Insecta) in Southern Morava river basin and their application in assessing the ecological status of lotic systems", and he has primarily scientific and research interest in the hydrobiology and bioassessment, especially community ecology of macroinvertebrates. Since 2011. he has been engaged in the national scientific project "Biosensing technologies and global system for longterm research and integrated management of ecosystems", founded by the Serbian Ministry of Education and Science (Grant #III43002). In 2013. he participated in international project "The Joint Danube Survey 3 (JDS3)" as a member of national research project team. He has took part in the int rnational scientific project "Managing the Effects of Multiple Stressors on Aquatic Ecosystems under Water Scarcity (GLOBAQUA)", EU FP7ENV2013; Project No 603629, as a specialist of the Chironomidae family.
