Ranko Dragović is Full Professor at Faculty of Science, University of Niš and lecturer of Biogeography, Methods in Geography Teaching, Tourismology and Political Geography. The areas of scientific research are socio-geographical and related disciplines and scientific fields with which social geography achieves scientific correlation. He has published a number of papers in international journals. Ranko Dragovic is the author of 2 textbooks, one auxiliary textbook, a monograph and a number of scientific papers and reports at international scientific conferences. He has been engaged as a researcher on several international and national scientific projects. He actively participated in projects related to educational research such as Support Human Capital Development and Research – General Education and Human Capital Development (EuropeAid/131556/C/SER/RS), 2012-2015, Hulla & Co. Human Dynamics KG, funded by European Union and Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), 2002-2005, funded by International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement, Amsterdam and Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Serbia. His research activities are oriented towards integration of geographical disciplines and their linking to other research areas (erosion studies, atmospheric electricity, environmental protection). He is a member of the state commission for approval of the program for professional development of teachers, examiner for the exam for teacher licenses, member of the state committee for the preparation of assignments for matura exam, etc. sjgs@pmf.ni.ac.rs
