Aleksandra Nina is Research Associate at the Institute of Physics Belgrade, University of Belgrade. Her research is focused on observation of the lower ionosphere, its modelling and study of perturbed ionospheric D-region influence on propagation of electromagnetic waves. She has participated in several international and national projects and she has been a member of Management Committees of two COST Actions. She has published a number of papers and has organized several special issues in international journals. Aleksandra Nina is president of the Serbian National Committee for International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG), correspondent of the Serbian National Committee for IUGG in International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy (IAGA), and vice chair of the Europlanet Society Southeastern Europe Hub.
